Prince Harry is expected to make his first trip home since the Sussexes’ completed their final royal engagements in March 2020. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the US in March but could not return to the UK due to the coronavirus crisis. However, there is a chance they could come back in 2021.
Harry and Meghan recently relocated to Santa Barbara with their son Archie, 16 months.
However, despite being settled in their new home, there is still work to be done back in the UK.
The pandemic delayed Prince Harry’s Invictus Games, which is now set to take place in 2021.
With the Games being held in the Netherlands, this would mean Harry and Meghan would be returning to Europe, thus making it likely they would make a stop at the UK.

Despite the couple paying back the British taxpayer for the Frogmore rennovations, they may still return to the property when they wish.
Royal commentator Lizzie Robinson told ITV’s Royal Rota podcast that it is ‘presumed’ Harry will return to attend the games.
“While Frogmore is laying empty at the moment, Harry said himself that they would have come over had it not been for COVID, and they would have been using it,” she said.
“Presumably he is coming over to Europe for next year’s Invictus Games.
“They’re still going ahead in the Hague in the Netherlands.

“You would expect to see him there, but I guess everything is still up in the air.”
Prince Harry had planned to attend the Rugby League World Cup in the UK for its 125th anniversary.
However, Harry was only able to join in video calls for the occasion due to the coronavirus crisis.
“We’ve got a whole Rugby League World Cup coming next year, so I definitely plan on coming back,” he said at the time.

“I would have been back already had it not been for COVID.”
Meanwhile, in the US, the Duke and Duchess have been attending royal engagements via video call.
Meghan became a patron with the charity Smart Works last year, and worked with them to launch a set of workwear for women re-joining the workforce.
Most recently, Meghan celebrated the anniversary of her Smart Set clothing line with the charity.

She said in a video call: “People can say that so much of Smart Works is about the clothes themselves but it’s really not.
“All of that stuff is the exterior but it is what it does for you on the inside that ends up being the best accessory.
“It’s the confidence, it’s what is built within, that is the piece that you walk out of that room with and walk into the interview with that will take you to the next level of success.
“And that’s what I love so much about the organisation.”
One of the clients on the call lavished praise on Smart Works for helping them when returning to work.
They said: “They really coached me and got me ready, I felt so confident.
“They sent out the clothes and they fit amazingly.
“I put them on and that was the last piece of just feeling confident.”
