The horror attack on Denbigh Street, Bordesley Green, took place just before 9pm on Friday. The men were in a car when they were surrounded by the gang armed with a gun and knives.
Two of the men were shot, both in the arm, and the third was knifed in the arm in the attack.
Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The gang fled the scene in up to three vehicles.
