But remember, if you’re playing on a draw day, it’s essential you buy your ticket before 7.30pm, or it will be entered into the following draw.

EuroMillions is a lottery that requires seven correct numbers to win the jackpot.

The lotto spans over a number of countries and was founded in 2004, with the first draw held on February 13, 2004.

The cost of playing EuroMillions in the UK increased from £1.50 to £2 in November 2009 due to its entry into the Millionaire Raffle.

In 2016, the price increased again from £2 to £2.50 per line, due to EU/GBP exchange rates.

Make sure you buy your entries before the 7.30pm cutoff for that particular draw.

To buy a ticket from a shop, just fill out a pay slip by marking your chosen numbers or ticking the Lucky Dip option.

If you wish to do so, you can play EuroMillions up to four weeks in advance of draw day.

Playing online has, however, become increasingly popular in recent years as it offers a range of advantages over paper tickets.

For example, once you purchase your entries online, they are then stored in your account and cannot be lost, stolen or damaged, unlike paper tickets.
