How do you form a support bubble?

The Government explanation of a support bubble says: “It is better to limit all your social interactions at this time to help stop the spread of coronavirus. However, we recognise that this is difficult.

“If you want to expand the group of people you can have close contact with during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, making a support bubble with another household is the safest way to do so.”

The idea is to give a single person some help and company during the lockdown, as such long periods of time alone can be detrimental to mental health.

A support bubble can also help with things such as chores and doing food shopping, meaning it has been invaluable to older people who live alone.
