Kate and Prince William have been welcomed to Bath by a jubilant crowd as they continue their royal tour. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited Cleeve Court Care Home on their second stop of the day during their Royal Train Tour.

While a few politicians didn’t speak enthusiastically about this tour across Great Britain, the residents at this care home appeared enthusiastic to be able to meet the royal couple.

ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship shared on Twitter a clip of a few residents and their carers holding Union Jacks while singing the popular Christmas song ‘Do they know it’s Christmas’.

He added. “We asked the boss here what she thought about the royal visit given the politicians’ criticism in Wales and Scotland over Covid restrictions.

“She said it was a high in a year of lows.”
