What are the new changes?

Weddings

From Monday, the number of weddings guests will be restricted to a maximum of 15 people at ceremonies.

The 15-person limit includes the couple, witnesses and guests but people working, such as a priest or a celebrant are not included.

The guidance is clear both receptions and ceremonies must take place in Covid secure venues.

People cannot have their weddings in a private house or garden, where only six people are allowed.

Although performers can sing and play music, the congregation is not allowed to do so.

In addition, dancing will be banned at the reception.
