Video footage has emerged of a lorry on the M25 ablaze before a huge explosion.
The inferno is likely to trigger huge delays on the motorway.
Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service confirmed they had rushed to the scene.
At 12.14pm, they said: “Crews are currently dealing with a fire involving a lorry carrying a generator on the #M25 anti-clockwise between junctions 15 (M4 interchange) and 14 (Heathrow)”.
