Royal commentator Charlie Rae and TalkRadio host Kevin O’Sullivan reflected on the controversial decisions made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The pair discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s choice to visit a US cemetery on Remembrance Day with a cameraman after a request by Prince Harry was denied by the Queen. The two commentators agreed it was embarrassing for the Royal Family and the Queen and claimed other incidents could occur this year as Harry could return to the UK for special royal events.

Mr O’Sullivan said: “That ceremony on Remembrance day where Prince Harry wanted a wreath to be laid on his behalf for all of the fallen military heroes.

“The Queen took two seconds to say no, you left the Royal Family, you are not involved in this.

“At which point, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, rather petulantly I would have thought, staged their own ceremony by going to a LA military cemetery.

“A cemetery where all the American soldiers were buried to lay their own wreath.

“They were also taking the precaution of taking a photographer along with them to turn it into a cheap and nasty publicity stunt.

“These two people are really scaling new depths.

“I just think this is becoming a clear and present daily embarrassment for the Royal Family, don’t you think.”

Mr Rae agreed and insisted this behaviour could continue as Harry is set to return to the UK in 2021.

“There is also the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue in Kensington later this year.”

“There will be a couple of trips, Covid-19 providing, that will have Prince Harry here for intensive talks with the Royal Family.

“I am sure they will be reading the right act to him over some of the things he and Meghan have been getting up to with Netflix and Spotify.”

Mr O’Sullivan closed by insisting Meghan and Harry were taking things too far.
