Meghan Markle, 39, and Prince Harry, 36, have been accused of not knowing how to “handle progressive causes” by royal author Robert Lacey. He claimed that unlike the Sussexes, Prince William has found the “secret” which enables him to engage with everyone. Speaking to True Royalty TV, Mr Lacey said: “The Windsors don’t do woke.
“It’s got to mean something to everybody and I think William has found the secret of doing that.”
Mr Lacey has recently detailed the fury felt by the royals in his book Battle of Brothers after Harry stepped down.
Speaking to Sky News, Mr Lacey claimed: “There was a moment of family fury because of the way Harry had lost his temper and had released prematurely his plans for moving abroad with Meghan.
“But William, of course, also has a temper.
It comes after Meghan and Prince Harry announced earlier this year they would be stepping back as senior royals.
After the bombshell statement, Prince Harry joined the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William to discuss the future for the royal pair.
Now Harry is living in the US with wife Meghan and their son, Archie.
