Express.co.uk readers can vote in our poll on whether Meghan and Harry should return to the UK for the military parade in June. And let us know more about what you think by scrolling down and leaving a comment.

Our poll comes after royal aides told the Sunday Times that the Queen’s grandson and the former Suits actress were expected to join the monarch at the event on June 12.

A final decision on the scale of Trooping the Colour is expected to be made in the spring after a mini version was held at Windsor Castle last year due to the pandemic.

A royal aide said: “The current plan is for the Queen’s birthday parade to go ahead in London as normal, with the acceptance that it may need to be adapted or scaled back depending on what guidelines are in force at the time.

“But the aspiration and the ultimate desire is to make it happen.”

However, a source has cast doubt over reports Meghan and Harry are planning to return to Britain for the military parade.

The source told the Telegraph: “It’s a little presumptuous for any of us to be speculating about whether we can travel anywhere this summer.”

Trooping the Colour marks the Queen’s official birthday with a display of pomp and pageantry.

The monarch celebrates her 95th birthday in April.
