Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha, is set to release a heavily anticipated memoir in two parts. The first titled ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1’ will be available later this month.

Meghan’s father Thomas Markle praised Samantha for her new book.

He told Us Weekly: “I’m just very pleased that she’s accomplished this book.

“Let’s let her talk to you about the book.”

The 328-page long memoir is set to be released on January 17.

According to bookshop Barnes and Noble’s website, the memoir will expose the truth about Samantha’s life “as a royal fairytale plummets from the tea towels”.

The book’s overview read: “Amidst a firestorm of fake news and media mayhem, Samantha Markle shares the truth about her life and family against all odds and ultimatums, as a royal fairytale plummets from the tea towels.

“Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction.”

Samantha announced her plans to write a tell-all memoir after Meghan and Harry became engaged in November 2017.

A source told Us Weekly: “Samantha was with one other gentleman who was pushing her chair for her.

“They handed the security guard the letter and left and were there for about two minutes.”

Before her wedding to Prince Harry, Meghan confirmed to the nation that her father would not be attending the event.

It came after Thomas was said to have colluded with a photographer to stage fake paparazzi photographs.

In a statement, the Duchess said: “Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding.

“I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.

“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support.”

According to the royal biography Finding Freedom, the Duchess was embarrassed by the situation but was also “worried” about her father.

A source close to Meghan told the book’s authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand: ““As much as she was hurt and humiliated, she wanted him to be there and was willing to move on.

“Plus, she was worried about him; she honestly wasn’t sure if he was actually okay. His behaviour was bizarre.”
