The package was found in Northfields station, which has caused the service between Acton Town and Heathrow to be closed.
Transport for London has claimed this closure is down to a security alert at the station.
They said: “No service between Acton Town and Heathrow all terminals due to a security alert at Northfields.
“Good Service on rest of the line. Covent Garden & Heathrow T4.”
Social media account, London & UK crime said: “Evacuation of Northfields station Reports of suspect package.”
