Princess Beatrice has “absolutely no recall whatsoever” of her father Prince Andrew picking her up from a birthday party in Woking’s Pizza Express, an unnamed source has told the Daily Mail. The investigation comes after the Duke of York denied that he had any sexual contact with an American woman named Virginia Giuffre, formerly Roberts, who alleges that she was ordered by Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with the royal while aged 17. During his bombshell BBC Panorama interview last year, the Queen’s son disputed Mrs Roberts’ claim that she met him on March 10, 2001 at a London nightclub, instead insisting that he was at home and had taken Beatrice to a Pizza Express in Woking for a party.

Royal biographer Angela Levin discussed these latest reports when she spoke to talkRADIO.

Commenting on the claims, she told listeners: “This is particularly heartbreaking actually.

“I think Princess Beatrice has been very brave to say that she can’t remember that.

“She does love her father, and she wouldn’t want to say anything that would make his situation worse.”

Ms Levin continued with her response to the reports, adding: “But the fact that she decided to be honest in terms of what she saw is very very commendable, I think.

“It does put him in the pizza or in the soup, as it were.

“What is important is that the Royal Family, i.e. the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William, have decided that Andrew does not represent them anymore.

“This is their way of standing up themselves.”

The Daily Mail source also claimed that Princess Beatrice was a young schoolgirl at the time who went to “any number” of meals at the Woking Pizza Express, and could not remember every single one of them, two decades after the event.

During his bombshell interview last year, when asked how he could remember being at Pizza Express so specifically, Prince Andrew told the BBC: “Because going to Pizza Express in Woking is a very unusual thing for me to do. I’ve only been to Woking a couple of times and I remember it weirdly distinctly.

“As soon as somebody reminded me of it, I went, ‘Oh yes, I remember that’. But I have no recollection of ever meeting or being in the company or the presence.”

Mrs Roberts also said she had been forced to have sex with the Prince in New York and Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands.

The Duke of York has “categorically” denied all the allegations.

Prince Andrew has also said he has offered to assist the FBI to help investigations in any way possible.
