Heir apparent Prince Charles and second-in-line Prince William were both thought to be likely choices to be in the Queen’s bubble this Christmas.
According to a royal source, the family might make the most of a loophole that could allow more of them to meet on Boxing Day.
Every Boxing Day the Royal Family take part in a pheasant shoot at Sandringham and the outdoor event could be attended by the likes of William and Charles this year.
The source added: “If they go to Sandringham, their traditional Boxing Day shoot could still take place, enabling them to see members of the family unable to join them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.”
