Queen on lockdown: Windsor Castle hit by Tier 3 restrictions – region faces new rules | Royal | News (Reports)

Berkshire is one of the areas set to move from Tier 2 restrictions to Tier 3 on Saturday, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced. Alongside the region of Windsor, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Surrey, except Waverley, Hastings and Rother, Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant will also be under the strictest Tier 3 measures from Saturday.

Mr Hancock said this tier review was due to the fact that coronavirus cases have gone up 46 percent across the south-east of England in the last week.
