“They have done recently anyway since Harry and Meghan have gone.

“They are very keen to do things, I think they feel they have been left out a bit and now is a chance.

It comes as Meghan and Harry are now living in America with their son Archie.

The Sussexes are free from royal constraints and have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify, as well as buying an £11 million mansion in California.

The couple plunged the monarchy into a period of crisis just over a year ago when they announced plans to step back as senior royals.

The Queen quickly organised a summit at Sandringham with Prince Charles, William and Harry.

Meghan and Harry officially ended royal duties on March 31 for a life of personal and financial freedom.

But Harry’s friend Tom Bradby claimed he has been left “heartbroken by the situation with his family” after moving to the US.

The ITV journalist made the comments on this Sunday’s episode of Love Your Weekend With Alan Titchmarsh.

Asked if he thought the couple seemed any happier across the pond, the broadcaster replied: “So are they unhappy? No, I think they are content, the things they are doing they are quite excited by.

“I think he is heartbroken by the situation with his family, you don’t necessarily need to have knowledge to know that, but I think it is true.”

Tensions between the Sussexes and the Royal Family were apparant when Meghan and Harry were interviewed by Bradby for an ITV documentary during their Africa tour – just months before they made their bombshell announcement.
