Which businesses are still closed?

Some businesses have been banned from reopening since the national full lockdown was announced on March 23.

All businesses and venues can remain open or can reopen so long as they meet the criteria outlined by the Government, except for the following:

  • Nightclubs, dance halls, and discotheques
  • Sexual entertainment venues and hostess bars.

In addition, all indoor and outdoor hospitality including cafes, bars, pubs, and restaurants, can open, unless they are a part of the premises of a business or venue which must remain closed.

These businesses must also remain closed unless they are in self-contained units that can be accessed from the outside.
