London explosion: Stratford house erupts with street evacuated – police at scene | UK | News (Reports)

The London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and Newham Police were called to the residential property shortly before 8am on Sunday.

Pictures from the scene show several police cordons in place.

Nearby road closures are also currently in place.

Newham Police said on Twitter there are no reported injuries.

The force tweeted: “Officers are assisting @LondonFire at the scene of an explosion at a residential property in Waddington Road, #E15. Police were called at 07:54hrs today. No reported injuries.

“Road closures are in place and several nearby homes have been evacuated. Enquiries are ongoing.”
