M25 traffic latest: Lanes closed both directions after lorry jackknifes – nine mile queues | UK | News (Reports)

The incident took place on the M25 anti-clockwise from J25 for the A10 Great Cambridge Road to J24 for Stagg Hill.

Motorists can expect severe delays to their journeys and up to nine miles of congestion back to J26 for Waltham Abbey.

The incident was reported shortly after 6.00am with lanes one, two and three of the motorway out of use, according to the AA route planner.

 

At this stage there are no reports of any injuries.

Drivers can expect disruption to their journey for at least the next four to five hours.

Highways England says the road traffic collision will be cleared by between 1pm and 1.15pm.

Normal driving conditions are expected to return by 1.45pm.
