The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex could be making their way back to the UK this year to discuss the terms of their Megxit deal amid rumours the couple have an ongoing feud with Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words, told the Sun relations between the brothers may be in the same position since this time last year.

He said: “I think it’s going to be very awkward if they do meet up.

“From what I am told the rift is not a lot better at the moment – they are not talking a lot.

“I think they will put on a united front for the unveiling of Diana’s statue and I’m sure they will put on a united front for the birthday celebrations but behind the scenes I think there’s going to be a lot of tension.”

During their last engagement as senior royals, the Commonwealth Day service last March, Harry and Meghan entered Westminster Abbey separately from William and Kate, and sat behind them rather than beside them, fuelling rumours of a rift between the two brothers.

Body language expert Patti Wood told Marie Claire that the Duke of Cambridge seemed to be trying to suppress anger.

She explained how his posture and fail expressions gave away how he was feeling.

Ms Wood said: “He’s doing a comfort palm, that palm down on his leg, which is comforting and suppressing his emotional state or he’s trying to suppress how he’s feeling.

“The fist on top of that is an indication that he is suppressing a slight amount of anger and if you go all the way up to the mouth, he’s doing a lip compression, which also says, ‘I’m suppressing my true emotional state’.

The expert said: “There’s a slight pursing of the lips and slight sadness in the eye that we see.

“The pursing of the lips is more like, ‘this doesn’t taste good to me’, then the sadness in the eye is, ‘this is sad’.”

Ms Wood also pointed out Prince Harry’s expressions, claiming he looked tired.

She said: “It looks like he hasn’t slept. That’s what it looks like when a man has come back to barracks or back from the line of battle and that they’re just sort of in that dizzy place.”
