Royal Fans will know that long before her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle landed an acting role in the hit legal drama Suits. Meghan starred in this for seven seasons before giving it up and marrying Harry. However, it seems being an actress wasn’t so easy.

Now, the newly released royal book Finding Freedom claims that Meghan was the mastermind behind an anonymous blog called “The Working Actress”.

In the blog, Meghan talked about all the pitfalls of the acting profession in Hollywood.

It was several years before Markle started a blog under her own name on The Tig.

“The Tig wasn’t the first time that Meghan had taken to the Internet to not only express herself but to also to reach out to others,” reads Finding Freedom.

The biography explains that Meghan had always enjoyed writing.

The book said she “even thought about becoming a journalist at one point, as it was an opportunity to channel her creativity and frustration.”

The authors said the former actress’ anonymous blog “captured the heartfelt moments of joy when she booked a job and the despair and rejection actors felt each time a role was lost in an industry often driven by appearance than talent.”

However, Meghan Markle never publicly acknowledged The Working Actress blog was hers.

Megan also managed to try out journalism.

In 2019, she became the guest editor of a special issue of British Vogue, which was timed to coincide with the 103rd anniversary of the publication.

This issue became the fastest-selling issue in the history of the magazine.

The book also explores Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Royal Family ahead of their decision to move to the US.

Prince Harry’s close friendship with Princess Eugenie is said to have been damaged after he and Meghan made a rather important announcement.

The book says Prince Harry felt the Queen’s granddaughter “had always been more than a cousin” and they were “also the closest of friends”, according to authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durant,

The royal became one of the first to know of his relationship with Meghan Markle, 39.

The book said: “Eugenie who’d long wanted to see her cousin settle down and be happy, told friends she loved Meghan and thought she was ‘just the tonic’ for Harry.”
