Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, will have their behaviour evaluated by the Queen ahead of the Megxit review in March amid calls for them to have their titles removed. But two royal commentators claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should hand their titles back as they “don’t need them”. Meghan and Harry, who stepped down in March, were stopped by the Queen from using their titles in a professional capacity.

Speaking on Heir Heads, presenter Eve said: “A year on from Harry and Meghan stepping back from the Royal Family they will have their roles reviewed.

“I guess the door is open for them to come back but ****ing fat chance of that happening.

“But I am very interested to see if they will be stripped of their titles or what I would hope they would do is to hand them back.”

Co-presenter Tom added: “I think they’ve proved that they don’t need them.

“While I don’t like that they have to do things that other members of the Royal Family don’t have to do.

“I feel like it would be freeing for them and they would suddenly have even more avenues open to them and that chain they’re kept on will be gone.”

Commentator Kevin Maguire has said her royal title along with Prince Harry’s should be taken away.

Speaking to ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Mr Maguire said: “All these ludicrous titles should go anyway.

Commentator Andrew Pierce branded the investment deal “tacky”.

He told GMB host Piers Morgan claimed “sources close to the Palace” are “just not happy about this overt, commercial activity”.

He said: “It’s tacky, it’s royals for hire, royals for rent.

“I remember Prince Michael of Kent in America many years ago was flogging bits of royal memorabilia on American TV programmes, it was stopped within days by the Queen.”
