Buckingham Palace has confirmed Her Majesty reached out to the incoming US commander-in-chief. Omid Scobie, the Royal Editor of Harpers Bizarre US, tweeted: “Buckingham Palace confirms that the Queen sent a private message to President @JoeBiden earlier today, ahead of #Inauguration2021.”
A Palace spokesman said: “Her Majesty sent a private message to President Biden ahead of the inauguration.
Her Majesty has met Mr Biden on a number of occasions, as a result of him serving as Barack Obama’s Vice-President for eight years from 2008 to 2016.
