UK Covid cases drop to lowest level since OCTOBER as another 258 deaths recorded | UK | News (Reports)

The Department for Health has confirmed there has been 10,972 new cases of COVID-19 as of 9am on Sunday.

It is the lowest daily increase and first time cases had dropped below five figures in more than four months.

Government data shows the UK recorded 6,968 cases of coronavirus on October 2.

This afternoon, it was confirmed 258 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for the virus.
