Both George and Charlotte are pupils at private primary school Thomas’s Battersea and may have hope to return to the classroom this week.

However, on Monday night a third national lockdown was announced by the Government in order to curb the rapid spread of Covid-19.

This means that George and Charlotte face being homeschooled and receiving remote learning for at least the next seven weeks.

While Kensington Palace is William and Kate’s main administrative base, the couple managed to conduct royal duty remotely from Anmer Hall during the first lockdown and may do the same this time around.
